Refund policy
1. General Policy
All payments for Evive are processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. As a provider of digital software-as-a-service (SaaS), purchases are generally non-refundable except as outlined in this policy or required by applicable law.
2. Free Trial & Evaluation
If you sign up for a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends via your account dashboard or through Paddle’s buyer support. No refunds are issued for free trial usage as no charges are incurred.
3. Subscription Refunds
We want you to be confident in your choice of property management tools. We offer the following refund terms:
- 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: For initial subscriptions, you may request a full refund within the first 30 days of purchase if the Service does not meet your business needs.
- Renewals: Monthly and annual renewals are generally non-refundable. We recommend canceling at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid unwanted charges.
- Statutory Rights: We honor the 14-day "cooling-off" period for customers located in the EU/UK and other jurisdictions where required by law.
To request a refund: Email support@evive.co with your Order ID (found on your Paddle receipt). We process requests within 5 business days.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- Partial Use: We do not provide prorated refunds for mid-month or mid-year cancellations. Your access will continue until the end of the current paid billing cycle.
- Data Migration Issues: While we offer support for data imports, dissatisfaction with the manual effort required for data entry is not a grounds for a refund after the 30-day period.
- Violation of Terms: No refunds are issued for accounts terminated due to a breach of our Terms and Conditions (e.g., fraudulent activity or misuse of the Service).
5. How Refunds Are Processed
Once approved, refunds are issued by Paddle directly to your original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, it may take 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your Evive subscription at any time through the "Billing" section of your account settings. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current paid term, at which point it will transition to a "Canceled" or "Read-Only" state.
